Endo-cannabinoids are native to the human body and is part of the endo-cannabinoid system (ECS). Everybody has Endo-cannabinoids within the body’s natural metabolism. It is part of us. If we are not making enough of Endo-cannabinoids we may have a health problem. The ECS is integral part of the biochemistry of the immune system, the regulation of cells and cell wall metabolism, particularly the brain and nervous system in general. Our bodies have specific receptors CB1 and CB2 receptors.
The essential fatty acid Omega 3 is the building block for the Endo-cannabinoids and a diet deficient in Omega 3 can lead to deficiencies in your ECS.
The good news is that this is completely reversible. If you are suffering from a deficiency the 1st step is to ensure that your diet is rich in Omega 3 available from hemp seed oil, linseed oil, avocados, walnuts and beans and of course hemp juice among many other things.
Here is an interesting lecture that makes good viewing for everyone.
